Ring main units are switchgear assemblies used at distribution substations to interconnect the supply network and protect transformer feeders. Intraco supplies modular RMUs with load break switches, circuit breakers, and combinations sized for your supply scheme.

2-Way RMU 2 Load Break Switches +
Configuration intended for ring-network insertion where no protection device is required on the local feeder. Detailed specifications to follow.
3-Way RMU 2 Load Break Switches + 1 Circuit Breaker +
Standard configuration for transformer-protected branches off a ring main. Two switch positions for incoming and outgoing feeders plus one breaker position for the transformer. Detailed specifications to follow.
4-Way RMU 3 Load Break Switches + 1 Circuit Breaker +
Extended configuration for more complex distribution topologies with three feeder positions. Detailed specifications to follow.
